So you are interested in being able to provide a reasonable answer for some of the questions that have been posed to you by non-believers, but you do not know where to begin. My blog is devoted to Christians in your place right now.
Maybe you have been online to look at the mass amount of information out there, and have been left feeling hopeless. Maybe you think that you will never understand this "apologetics" thing. I want to encourage you to keep going! This post is going to give you a place to start!
1 Peter 3:15 says "but set apart the Messiah as Lord in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you." This is the key verse when discussing apologetics.
This is a beginner discussion about apologetics by Dr. William Lane Craig of Reasonable Faith. There are 5 parts, and each part is about 10-12 minutes. This will give you a good start to grasp the idea of what apologetics is and why it is important to you!
Apologetics, Reason, Faith and Philosophy (part 1)
Apologetics, Reason, Fatih and Philosophy (part 2)
Apologetics, Reason, Fatih and Philosophy (part 3)
Apologetics, Reason, Fatih and Philosophy (part 4)
Apologetics, Reason, Fatih and Philosophy (part 5)
Welcome, the purpose of my blog is to reach the average person with ideas of Truth and Faith. This blog is not intended to be a high level apologetics blog, rather a place for the average believer to come and to consider such ideas of apologetics and how they can increase our Faith and understanding of Truth. Please feel welcome to leave comments, questions, or thoughts at any time that will lead to good discussion!
